Affection
My heart grows with infinite love ,
at your touch.
Weaving affection
Spreading throughout the body .
Changing the bitter me into affection.
Cutting all cuffs of bondage,
Shearing all worries of regret and shame.
Untying all knots of hatred and revenge.
Raking the wreckage pieces of disappointment and backstabs.
Renovating the backyard cemetery of my dreams,
Into a celebrity mansion of benevolence.
Placing a burning a burning amber on my tongue,
Called affection.
Cleansing the mind of unclean thoughts.
Brushing away all bowels of revenge accumulating.
Dismantling all ammunitions of planned evilness.
Leaving me in wonder and amazement
At the sweet word affection
Sewing my mind into seams of forgiveness.
Reinforcing all threads of tenderness and care.
Hoeing furrows of patience,
Planting seeds of everlasting vision.
Watering cupful spills of reassurance.
Mulching with a layer of humbleness.
Affection
Uttering words to instil a cheerful heart.
Rebuking to remove all strays of fear.
Blind to all shouts of disapproval from every site.
Slowly chiselling in me,
A groove of affection.
